  18. As you can see, no installation program is provided with the demo. You don't need one, though. Simply place the Utopian Worlds files in a separate directory. You can create a Program Manager icon for DEVSUITE.EXE or simply run it from the command line.

To learn how to use Utopian Worlds Development Suite, the program used to create adventure games, simply ask for online help by pressing F1 or choosing Help | Index. This will display the standard help included with every copy of Utopian Worlds. Use this to browse through features or learn how Utopian Worlds adventures are fashioned. Use this online help file to discover the wealth of features that Utopian Worlds provides and how it enables you to create fantastic adventure games in just minutes. After examining the help file, we know that you'll be amazed at all Utopian Worlds can do and still be easy to use!

The icons you received in this demo package are a SMALL subset of the entire icon library packaged with Utopian Worlds. The icon library, in its entirety, consists of over one hundred icons. There is also a complete graphics library filled with custom designed artwork and some other uncopyrighted works. On the design board are a sound effects and music library. These will be available at very low cost to registered owners of the software upon their release!

  26. The development program is disabled. It cannot save files. You can choose the Save and Save As commands and enter a filename, but nothing will actually be saved in the file. The rest of the program is intact, however, and in its full production version.

  28. You did not receive a runtime player in this demonstration version. This is because you can't save any files to disk so you could not possibly play them. It would just waste space to include them.
